- Curious about discovering the interconnectivity & communication between the body layers (beyond the muscular layers) & how they create inseparable links that promote and maintain optimum function. Fiona’s passion and drive to investigate dysfunction within the human body motivated her to undertake extensive studies and training in internationally acclaimed Jean Pierre Barral’s Visceral Manipulation (VM) curriculum through the Barral institute. In addition, through the Upledger Institiute, Fiona has completed both level 1 and 2 Craniosacral Therapy Courses. A curriculum that, through gentle touch, finds the root cause of problems/ restrictions of the body and supports the body in the change without force.

- More recently, Fiona has completed her extensive online training in Somatic Stress Release under the tutelage of Dr. Scott Lyons. Working closely with leading holistic health practitioners, Fiona has integrate her scientific background with complimentary therapies. Her treatments and classes provide very positive outcomes.

-       Yoga teacher 300YTT, 100YYTT- As a keen student of yoga, Fiona completed her yoga intensive teacher training course in early 2015 and began teaching group and private classes immediately. Through the exploration of her own body, Fiona identified how impactful movement and the breath is on maintaining communication within the body. Fiona completed her yin yoga teacher training and identified strong similarities between the Barral institute principles and the philosophy of yin yoga. It was with great enthusiasm that Fiona began to enmesh her extensive knowledge gained through her physiotherapy profession with her yoga teacher trainings to provide more thoughtful and holistic manual therapy treatments while offering safe and nurturing yoga classes that embrace and feel into the physical form.
